Headless Chickens

“Ok, Tim,

WHAT are you talking about?

Headless chickens?”

When I talk about headless chickens,

What I’m really talking about is

Online home-based business people

That don’t plan their strategy for

Marketing their business,

For success.

Instead, they run around in circles like chickens 

With their heads cut off,

i.e. headless chickens,

Making a fuss,

Saying, “Look at me,

Look at me,

Look at my deal,

Look at my deal.”

Thinking that the quantity

Of stuff they throw out there

Will more than compensate

For the lack of quality

Of stuff they throw out there.

They call everyone that they know,

Everyone that they don’t know,

Everyone that they think they want to know

To tell them about their

Newest,

Most amazing,

Life-changing

Business opportunity

That’s newer,

More amazing,

More life-changing

Than the fifty previous opportunities

That they joined 

And called them about

Last week,

Last month, 

Last year,

None of which they were successful with.

You see, every opportunity can succeed.

And every opportunity can fail.

The reason it succeeds is

That you did it right.

The reason that it fails is

That you did it wrong.

If you want to succeed,

Find a person

That is successful in that business and

Can teach you what he/she did

To achieve that success.

Then do what they do.

How hard is that?

If they were successful by calling leads,

Then call leads.

If they were successful by blogging,

Then blog.

If they were successful by recruiting

Family and friends,

Then recruit family and friends.

But I’ll tell you straight out,

I have never seen anyone achieve success,

By running around squawking

About their opportunity,

About their deal 

Like a headless chicken.
